Went on another hike in the canyons out here. I spent three hours hiking the Red Rock area in Southern Nevada. Beautiful day. Blue sky, typical in the west. A man can really enjoy just taking a deep breath in these open spaces. It was the kind of day I imagined it to be when I was growing up in East Tennessee. I knew I wanted to go west at an early age. There is a real sense of freedom under these open skies. Socialism reminds me of the virus. You start out not quite feeling right. Then by the time you realize what it really is, you're drowning with it. Wes Rand
